Illinois Wesleyan Girl's Soccer Camps

Program

Camp Philosophy

The mission of the IWU Girls Soccer Camp is to attract and challenge female soccer players from throughout the region and the nation. Our intention is to provide ODP, club, and high school players with competitive training and progressive instruction in the areas of technique and tactical decision making. Most importantly, the coaching and instruction will be high quality coaches from all levels. Our aim is to provide a high quality, enjoyable, and productive camp environment to players seeking a serious camp experience.

In addition, supplementary sessions with the campers will be offered to help educate players about the college recruitment process, nutrition, goal setting, and strength and conditioning for the serious player. In an effort to provide the most competitive environment, campers will have the opportunity to utilize many of the world class facilities at Illinois Wesleyan University.

At the end of the camp, we hope our campers leave feeling they have been exposed to a higher level of competition and training, and that they are better prepared for their upcoming seasons and beyond.

Goalkeepers

For goalkeepers, we have a trainer to develop your abilities as well. While field players are off doing their own technical sessions, goalkeepers will be trained by qualified goalkeeper coaches. All players will be together during sessions involving group tactics and games in the evening.
